It’s a very full week of events for this year’s Conference. As you work your way through registration, you’ll notice we’ve added a Golf Day to the 2016 conference.
But not merely any golf day:
Kierland Golf Club provides three 18-hole combinations. Named after indigenous plant life found on the course, Acacia, Ironwood and Mesquite offer three championship-style nines – each with its own flavor and strategy. Emerald green fairways are etched into golden-colored desert grasses, sweeping over constantly changing elevations to flawless greens. More than three hundred bunkers guard the way, along with lakes, dry desert washes and strands of desert trees. The signature TifEagle greens offer up subtle contours that challenge even the best players. Kierland Golf Club designer Scott Miller, formerly a senior designer for Jack Nicklaus, designed many of the America’s finest courses including Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course in Idaho and We-Ko-Pa Golf Club in Scottsdale among many others.
We’re in the process of adding it to the event home page over here, but in the mean time the fine points for the event are:
RTC Golf Day with Lunch on Wednesday, July 13th. The cost is $110 per player and includes:
- 18 holes of golf
- Climate controlled golf cart (yes – really!)
- Range balls
- Use of driving range
- Light lunch / drink at the conclusion of the game
Plan to start play early – great idea for Scottsdale in July. Tee times will be allocated between 7am and 8am. If you don’t bring your own clubs, they’ll need to be booked separately (NOT rented directly with the Pro Shop. So please call ahead. The cost to hire pre-booked clubs is $55.
One more thing: the golf courses are scheduled to go through an aerification process and will have 9-23 days of healing by the time we are due to play.
So that’s about it. If you’re on the fence and don’t think you play well enough to enjoy yourself, don’t worry about it! You couldn’t do worse than this guy!
