The story of why RTC started has been often told at RTC events. Now in its 12th year the Australasian event has certainly grown and importantly evolved. More people attend now than ever and it’s safe to say that over these past years, thousands of individuals have been in attendance. In this time also, BIM has permeated, well the construction industry, to a point where all design disciplines now use it, all tier one contractors are committed to its use, Defence is poised to make BIM and IPD contracts mandatory and many government facility owners mandate at minimum LOD300 model deliverables. Also it’s very apparent in our industry that Revit is not the only BIM platform, particularly for the infrastructure providers. For what has become the premier BIM knowledge and networking event in Australia, this presents a real challenge. Over the years, we have endeavored to respond to this evolution within industry and the roles within it related to BIM. We’ve broadened topics to more industry participants, given presentation opportunity to all platforms, maintained technical demonstrations whilst also encouraging more strategic leadership content.
As the tweet above indicates, registrations for our 2016 event open very soon, before the end of this year. As usual we will offer a discount to our early registrants. Keep an eye out as we will be making more announcements in the early new year about special 2016 program developments.
