RTCAsia2015 – Singapore Survival Guide Tip 817: Its Hot Here
For those of you joining us at RTC’s inaugural Asian Event this September, let’s spend a moment to think about what to pack.
Singapore is on the equator. In the tropics. Its hot here, and muggy as hell. As i write this its 90F/32C degrees, with 80% humidity. It’s 7:45 in the morning. What does this mean for you? IT MEANS YOU SHOULD PLAN TO SWEAT EVERY TIME YOU WALK OUTSIDE THE EVENT VENUE!!!
Simple enough right? It doesn’t take a genius to realize that so much of Singapore’s success can be attributed to the invention of air conditioning. However, it does seem to take a genius to figure out how to properly calibrate an air conditioning system. Thus when you are in the sessions, be prepared to freeze your tuchas off!
So what does this mean for you? I’ve been in Asia for 10 years and i’ve learned that every day is a great day for shorts…
And a hoodie….
You are no good to us frozen. You have been warned. See you in September!
