RTCAUS 2012 – Sunday Golf Game

Are you a golfer? Attending RTC in Wollongong next month? Chris Razzell is setting up a golf outing on Sunday after the conference. Read his invitation for more details:

Dear RTC attendees,

Several conference attendees from HASSELL, NDY, Arup and Autodesk will be playing golf on Sunday 27th May in Wollongong, before travelling back to Sydney CBD and we’d like to extend the invite to anyone else that’s interested.

We’ll be playing a 4-ball Texas Scramble competition – what’s Texas Scramble I hear you say? Well it’s a team game where everyone tees off and then your captain chooses the best ball from the 4 in your team and everyone plays their second shot from that position… and so on… players handicaps are taken into account (don’t worry if you don’t have one) and at the end of the game, we compare the scores to see which team has won. The course is centrally located in Wollongong and looks fantastic the cost will be around $40 for the round, but we may be able to get a group discount depending on numbers. If you don’t have clubs or don’t want to bring them, they can be hired from the course and buggies are also available – refer to website for details.

The plan is to tee-off from 9:30am and if there is sufficient interest, maybe we could each throw in $5 so there are some prizes – winning team, longest drive, closest to the pin… We can draw names out of a hat to determine teams, but if you and a few buddies can make up a team of 4-players even better!

Please RSVP to Chris by May 11th providing:

Name: your name
Company: your company name
Handicap: if you don’t have one just write ‘None’
Team: if you have 4 players, fill in your Team Name otherwise leave blank
Prize fund: Yes I’ll throw in $5 for prizes!
