Smooth Sailing

Now that you’ve (hopefully) caught up last week after the previous week at Autodesk University let’s take a moment and look ahead to RTC in North America 2016! Next year’s conference will be a little different than the previous years as for many of you the conference will take place for an entire week. We haven’t finalized the schedule but we’re pretty sure it’s going to look something like this:

– Monday and Tuesday: BCS or Building Content Summit will be a two day event.
– Tuesday and Wednesday: DTS or Design Technology Summit will be a day and a half event.
– Golf Day: Let’s play golf! This year’s conference hotel is home to three golf courses, which seems an excellent opportunity to gather everyone interested in a midweek Lauderdale-style round of golf. The Lauderdale format groups players into teams of four and the best position is played after each stroke. So even if you’re terrible at driving but rock at putting it’s going to be a lot of fun.

– Thursday through Saturday: RTC North America. Three days of wonderfully intense learning. Each evening provides a terrific opportunity to relax and network while discussing with friends and peers how to advance your business needs and technology best practices.
And with that in mind – the Abstract Submissions for the 2016 North American conference is still open (until the 18th of December). If you’re wondering about the kinds of sessions we’re looking for the particulars are over here.

So what are you waiting for? AU2015 has wrapped and you’ve been home and rested for a whole week! Submit your abstracts ASAP!
