BILT ANZ 2018 Keynote is…

It’s that time of year again when you are all back from the holidays, Australia Day is past and registrations open for BILTANZ. So you’d best get your boss’s credit card ready so you can be sure to get early bird registration.  When does registration open? Tomorrow, in fact, with the full program following shortly after. But in the meantime, you’d love to know who this year’s Keynote Speaker is,  right?  Well, you will have to click to find out won’t you?

Anyone who attended RTCNA in Scottsdale 2016 will probably remember our sensational Keynote Speaker Ashraf Habibullah. This year Ashraf has graciously agreed to join us in Brisbane for BILTANZ – though perhaps we should say BrisVegas. BrisVegas certainly better suits Ashraf’s own style! Proving that structural engineers don’t have to be boring, Ashraf will share his vision and experience of the importance of both technology and creativity to the world of architecture, engineering and construction. His keynote from RTCNA was described as a celebration of the grandeur and glory of technology in AEC.

Ashraf is an inspirational speaker, who believes in the power of technology and engineering allied with the arts to change the world.  His keynote presentation at BILT ANZ entitled “Introduction to Human Engineering” will teach you why the success of your project is only in a small measure attributable to technical skills, and more so in relation to your ‘human engineering’ skills – the ability to communicate, inspire and lead in order to make the world a better place to live through engineering and architecture.

Ashraf is a registered Civil and Structural Engineer, and President and CEO of Computers and Structures, Inc. He founded CSI in 1975. Today, CSI is recognized globally as the pioneering leader in the development of software tools for structural and earthquake engineering.

For a taste of Ashrafs style visit the CSI blog on his appearance at RTCNA 2016.

Get ready to be inspired!
