What are You Doing on Friday Night?

If you’ve attended any of our RTC events in the past, you’ll know that we like to take our delegates offsite on the Friday night and the same goes for the European conference. If you read last week’s blog, you’ll know that Porto is the city that gave Port wine its name. It’s only fair that we do something related to Port wine. Therefore this year, we will be hosting the Friday Night Function at Taylor’s Famous Port Cellar proudly sponsored by Chaos Group.

Taylor’s is one of the oldest founding Port houses, dedicated entirely to the production of Port wine. Noted for their elegance and poise as well as their restrained power and longevity, Taylor’s Vintage Ports are blended from the finest wines of their own quintas or estates, Vargellas, Terra Feita and Junco. Taylor’s is also respected as a producer of wood aged ports and holds one of the largest reserves of rare cask aged wines from which its distinguished aged tawny Ports are drawn.

Upon arrival, you will be taken on a tour of the venue and will learn about the fascinating history of Port wine, as well as that of the House of Taylor’s. At the conclusion of the tour, you will have the chance to taste some their Port wines. As always a tasty hot buffet dinner will be served.

Taylor’s is situated up on the hills and the dinner venue is surrounded by large windows and a balcony, showcasing the breathtaking views of Porto. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the wonderful memories of Porto.
