Who Will You be Seeing at RTCAUS 2016?

Every year the Organising Committee endeavour to bring the best of BIM to the Australasian region whether technical or strategic and 2016’s event will be no different. It’s taking place from the 12th – 14th May 2016 at the magnificent Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, 2 hours’ drive north of Sydney, New South Wales.

To get you thinking about why you shouldn’t miss this year’s event (besides the location and world class wineries), here’s a glimpse of a couple of the speakers who will be gracing us with their presence:

  1. Aaron Maller, based in Dallas, Texas is coming down under to deliver a session on Virtualisation for the BIM workstation. Aaron Maller is very well known throughout the industry globally. You may know him as @Twiceroadsfool. He is the Director of Implementation at the Parallax Team. Not only does he look after all facets of Revit Implementation, he also deploys and maintains the implementation setups for: AutoCAD, Revit plus all add-ins, Synchro, ArchVision Dashboard, on win7 and win8. Aaron is a regular speaker at our events and is also a member of the BCS Steering Committee.
  2. Robert Beson, based here in Sydney, is making his way to the Hunter to deliver a session on Design to Fabrication Subject Matter. Rob is a first time speaker at our RTC AUS event this year! To give you a little insight, he is a Director of Sydney practice AR-MA. He’s been educated in the United States and Australia and he holds degrees in Literature, Classics and Architecture. In 2010, Robert was awarded the Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship for Research on Digital Fabrication and Production of Complex Structures.
