What’s happening in Asia?
Alright, the wait is over. It’s been a while since we’ve talked about our RTC Asia conference and I believe it was about time we gave you some updates. Late last year, Wes and I made our way around the shortlisted destinations for this event and we have found ourselves a contender. But wait there’s more!
Before we can get this show on the road, we are currently building up our Asia Committee (having lost Adam Sheather back to Australia) and are pleased to be getting more hands on deck. We are excited to announce that Mr Richard Kuppusamy has accepted our invitation to join the Committee in the Asian region.
For those of you who are not familiar with Richard, he is a Senior Architectural Designer at WOHA. A chartered British Architect with more than 15 years of experience in the AEC industry delivering large scale projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia regions. He takes a humanistic appraoch in designing solutions for sustainable high-rise, high-density, living in the tropical environments of South East Asia.
His expertise includes over 8 years’ experience in BIM implementation and strategic planning. He is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary collaboration teams and developing BIM workflows from conceptual design through to production information.
Richard is a regular speaker at many conferences and has contributed to the development of the Building Construction Authority, Singapore BIM Guide. His experience in architecture and delivering BIM enabled projects encompasses a wide spectrum of sectors including education, commercial, residential, healthcare and transport. We are very honoured to have him join our Asia Committee.
But it doesn’t just end at Richard. There’s more to announce…more Committee members, the location of the event, details about the event and so much more. I guess you’ll just have to tune in right here next week to see the announcements we make.
