Data Day 2018 – Call for Abstracts (New this year)!
Data Day 2018 – is calling for Abstracts!
Data Day started in 2015 as a conference focused on how data leverages business decisions in the AECO industry. For the past 2 years, the Data Day Committee has worked to provide the framework for data focused presentations. Each year we have asked for feedback on how to make Data Day better. If you have ideas or thoughts on improving Data Day; reach out to us. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
NEW THIS YEAR:
The 2018 Data Day Committee has decided to ask for presentation abstracts. We want to reach out to the most possible presenters to participate in our growing community. We are looking for the following:
- Software used specifically for data management and mining (dRofus, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Real-life examples and experiences, focusing on customer benefit. Lessons learned are great, but also what was the business problem and how was it solved
- Facility Management (FM) and/or Owner perspective.
The sessions will be about 45 minutes in length.
What is the big difference in speaking at Data Day versus speaking at BILT NA? The size of the conference is smaller, so there is lots of discussion and conversation. Past year attendees have appreciated the interaction with speakers, the discussions, and the civil discourse of differing opinions and experiences.
What I find most interesting is that both the speakers and the conference participants end the day understanding the ‘data problem’ in a new way.
If you would like to submit a presentation abstract you can do so here – SUBMIT ABSTRACT
